The first time I met Ms. Parris she said "Come Here BOY!!! Yep I was in trouble. From there developed a friendship, then neighbors for 12 years. She was very supportive us, my kids and grandkids. We all Love You Ms. Parris. She was there for graduations, open houses and job promotions. Stacey we are praying for peace in these difficult days. May God continue to Bless and keep You.

Ms. Paris was my 6th grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Saginaw Michigan. She was such a positive role model for all of her students. She was a no nonsense, but sweet, loving, caring, and giving teacher that I will never forget. I think of her often still some 40+ years later. Things she said. Things she taught us. Some things not school related all all. Life lessons. How eloquently she carried herself. She was deliberate in every thing she did. She made such an impact in my life. A positive impact. It was good for us young black children to see such a well poised and intelligent teacher that looked like us. She was our superhero. Our "Black Panther." May God Bless and keeps His Loving arms wrapped around all of her family and friends. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful and rare Gem.
