Obituary

Darrell Wayne Johnson, 52, of Chattanooga, passed away at his residence on November 7, 2020. During his earlier years in life he was employed with ADM Milling Company. Due to health issues, Darrell later transferred his talents to work in the private sector of transportation, where he worked for Millennium Taxi & Transportation for years and served the community in various roles. Darrell’s favorite past-time was listening to music. Darrell was an avid sports enthusiast; he also enjoyed spending time with his family and had a deep love for all children.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Luckey Sr. and Gwendolyn Luckey; brother, Rickey
L. Johnson; and sister, Robin (Tina) Bearden. Darrell will be sadly missed by those who shared his life:
two sisters, Carol A. Johnson and Cynthia Johnson-Owens (Irvin Overton Jr.), both of Chattanooga,
Tennessee, two brothers, Michael Johnson (WeeWee) and Leonard Luckey Jr. (Roxanne) both of
Chattanooga, Tennessee: a very special aunt, Winifred (Winnie) Ward of Chattanooga,Tennessee, many many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, a host of other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 20, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral
Home. A private family funeral service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at John P.
Franklin Funeral Home. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
