Obituary for William H. Robinson
William Henry “Joe” Robinson, 83, was born September 13, 1937, to the late Sarah Massey Robinson in Huntsville, Alabama. He passed on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
He retired from Rock-Tenn after forty-four years of service.He was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Massey Robinson; brother, Roosevelt Robinson; 3 sisters, Elnora Claudell Clay , Beatrice James Davis and Rosa Lee Burt; 2 sons, Don Jeffery Lewis and Chris Lake; sister-in-law, Betty Mae (John) Clay of Detroit, Michigan.
Those to cherish his memory include his wife, Juanita Douglas Robinson; three sons, William Tyrone (Shekia) Robinson of St. Mary, Georgia, Travis (Verda) Robinson, Dayton, Ohio, Michael (Erica) Douglas, Memphis, Tennessee; 4 daughters, Brenda Robinson, Chattanooga, Tonya Robinson, Atlanta, Georgia, Rhonda (Gary) Evans, Nashville, Tennessee, Delma (Kelley) Sanders, Rossville, Georgia; one and only sister, Ernestine R. A public viewing will be held 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the funeral home, followed by a 1:00 pm graveside service. Interment: Lakewood Memorial Gardens EAST.
