Walter (Chili) Williams was born on September 06, 1943 in Chattanooga , TN to the late Charlie and Roxie Williams.
He transitioned to his heavenly home on December 29, 2020 at his home after an illness with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Valerie Williams; brother, Charles Williams; sister, Mary Favors; and nephew, Michael Favors.
He was a member of Union Hill Baptist church.
Walter (Chili) Williams was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools.
Walter (Chili )Williams retired from Chattanooga State College.
He is survived by long time companion, Vivian Holland; daughters, Catrina Williams, Pamela Holland, Dena Ward, and Monica Williams; and son, Terrence Holland; brother, Napoleon “Donut” Williams; sister, Janie Gantt; two grandsons, Terrence Holland Jr. and Gregory Thomas; one granddaughter, Cameron Williams; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Sunday, January 3. 2020 at the funeral home.
