Obituary for Victor Skillern, Sr.
Victor Leon Skillern, 69, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Chattanooga. He was a 1969 graduate of Riverside High School. He was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother, Oddie Mell Skillern.
He is survived by his sons, Victor L. Skillern Jr. and Darin Skillern; daughters, Candace (Kevin) Roberts and Lacresha Skillern; father, Sidney L. Skillern; sisters, JoAnn Ryce, Veronica Walker; granddaughter, Kieana Ferguson; grandson, Rashawn Dixon; nephews, Charus Ryce Sr., Charus Ryce Jr. and Caleb Ryce; nieces, Natasha Mayfield, Angela Ryce and Sydney Mayfield; other family and friends.
Public viewing will begin from 3:00 – 6:00 pm Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment to be held 11:00 am Monday, August 17, 2020 at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
