Obituary for Tony Clark

We celebrate the life of our beloved son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. Tony changed his earthly address to his heaven address on December 3, 2022. Tony was an avid Tennessee Titan Fan, he enjoyed traveling and people, but most of all, he loved his family and his dog, Taffy. Tony was born on October 18, 1958 in Memphis TN and was a graduate of Westwood High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bishop LaSalle and Elnora Clark; father, Johnny Green; brothers, Darrell Clark and Jimmy Williams.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Cheryll Clark; mother, Jean Green and grandmother, Lula Mae Brown of Memphis TN; children, De'Andrea (Stacy) Clark, April Clark of Memphis TN., John (Jay) Hudson, III., and Christinia (Marcus) Womble; grandchildren, Jaylon Hudson, Mikole and Je'Annyia Phillips of Chattanooga, Nyah Terrell, De'Ray, De'Angelo, De'Kayra, Tyrell, De'Terrion, Mekiah and Mikia, Tyrhianna and Angelina, of Memphis Tn; sisters, Janice (Henry) Martin, Gail Jordan, Michelle (Jacob) Gibbons, Sabrina (Earl) Sayles, Thelma (Fredrick) Faulkner and Esha Webb of Memphis TN; brother, Johnnie Pope of Memphis TN; special friends, Leslie and April Blackstock, Greg Bailey, Larry Pankin, Henry Martin, and Frank Bumpass; a host of relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the funeral home. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm Friday, December 16, 2022 at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
