Terence Lee Derrick, II, 36, born December 19, 1985, to Terence L. Derrick, Sr. and Laneeta Johnson Derrick. He passed away in a local hospital September 13, 2022.

Terence was of the Baptist faith, and he was raised and attended New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Brainerd High School. He was employed by the Kenco Group.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee A. Derrick and Barbara S. Derrick.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and supportive mother, Laneeta Johnson Derrick; father, Terence “BB” (Sheila) Derrick; son, Tre’Shawn Derrick; daughters, Te’Asia Moore, Ta’Leigha Derrick; brother, Jalen Derrick; sisters, Briana Derrick, Samaria Derrick; grandparents, Bernice Johnson and John (Blondie) Johnson; aunts, Mary Johnson (Reginald) Jackson, Lisa Johnson (Michael) Jones and Pamela L. Johnson.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm Thursday, September 22, 2022, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Friday, September 23, 2022, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3777 Wilcox Blvd, Chattanooga. Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
