Obituary for Sherrie Price
Sherrie “NeeNee” Trammell, 49, of Chattanooga, TN transitioned to her eternal life Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Siskin Hospice Center surrounded with the love of family and friends. Sherrie was born May 8, 1973, in Chattanooga, TN to Alonzo and Joyce Trammell. Sherrie loved her family, dancing, and life. She lived life with a smile and made everyone laugh. Her wittiness was infectious.
Sherrie obtained her CDL license to do what she loved… drive. She drove for CARTA public transportation for many years. Sherrie was preceded in death by her nephew Kenneth Trammell.
Sherrie is survived by her parents, Alonzo and Joyce Trammell; godparent, Mother Ajamu; sisters, Tracy Trammell, Tonya Brown, Boo Trammell, Angela Hester, Donna Gantt, Nichole Trammell, Kemeshia Trammell, and Shon Trammell; brothers, Kenneth Trammell, Alonzo “Jap” Trammell, Lonnie Trammell, Gary Stamp, and Chuck Trammell; significant other, Roger Ruffin; children, Travilicia Martin, Traviunta Martin, Darrell Trammell, and Wyliesha Trammell; niece, Kenshayla Trammell; nephews, Keyonis Trammell, and Dekendrick Trammell; nine grandchildren, Trinity Thomas, Triton Norris, Rykeer Martin Rhylee Martin, Aidan Arranmaan, Jeremih Davis, Sariyah Ramsey, Isaiah Smith and Viante Martin; a host of other family and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the funeral home. An 11:00 AM funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
