Sherman Haney, Jr.,86, passed away October 15, 2022, in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleo Haney; father, Sherman Haney, Sr; sister, Elizabeth Elder; Sherman's wife of 45 years, Alicia Annette Haney.
Sherman leaves to share his memories with his loving son, Sherman Haney, III; daughter, Marcy (Terry) Gauntt; grandson, Kyree Sherman Haney; sister, Vivian Ferrell; niece, Victoria Ross; nephew, Harold (Sheila) Ferrell, Jr; sister and brother-in-law, Tanya and James Carter; grand-nephews and nieces, Aaron, Chape, Josh, Ebony, and Monia, all in Chattanooga; a dear friend, Gloria Williams and Watson.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 am-11:30 am, followed by an 11:30 am funeral service on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
