Obituary for Sandra D Carson
Sandra Dorene Carson, 62, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, surrounded by her family and in the comfort of her home, in Chattanooga, TN. Sandra was born September 12, 1959, to Mr. Johnnie Benn Harden and Mrs. Ada Kate Harden.
Sandra attended Chattanooga High School. She worked for more than 20 years as a CNA for various hospitals and healthcare facilities.
Friends and family remember Sandra for a kind and giving nature. When someone was in need, she never hesitated to reach out and lend a helping hand or listening ear.
She was preceded in death by both parents. She leaves loving and precious memories to her husband, Stephen Carson; daughter, Stephanie Carson; son, Stephon Carson; three sisters, Suzan Harden, Denise Harden, Belinda (Charlie) Smith; god sisters, LaRhonda “Donise” Howard and Wanda Pritchett; aunt, Carrie Harden; nephew, Charlie Smith; niece, Charlene Smith; god-niece, Erica Parker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends; caretaker- Marian Sheffield.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Sandra's name to the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center and the American Cancer Society.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, on Friday, July 8, 2022, followed immediately by a 1:00 PM funeral service in the Chapel of the John P. Franklin Funeral Home,1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
