Romondo Ellison, 46, passed away March 6, 2023. He attended Howard High School. He was employed by Mar’s Chocolate Manufacturer of Cleveland Tn until his health failed.

Romondo was a witty, playful, jokester who was very comical. He had an exceptional sense of humor, always joking, laughing, and reflecting on childhood memories. He had an inclination for hats of all kinds. We could hardly find a photo of him without a cap on. Romondo loved R & B music. Music was an escape from the world. His children and grandchildren brought him the most joy. He was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Ellison; mother, Diane Bonner; sister, Shanequa Ellison; son, Demontae Ellison
He is survived by his loving spouse, Angelia Ellison of Cleveland Tn; daughter, RaShyla Ellison; son, Romondo Ellison, Jr.; stepdaughters, Estella Renfro and Honesty Renfro; grandsons, Amir and Andre Ellison; sister, Ronesia Burgess; brother, Savelt Burgess; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2023 at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
