Obituary for Roberta Woods
Roberta K. Woods, 92, passed away September 8, 2020. She retired from Erlanger Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Woods; father, William Oliver Kent; mother, Ada Godhigh Kent; brother, William Kent; sister, Pauline Wyatt, all of Rockmart, GA.
Survivors include her son, Joel Terrell; daughter-in-law, Angela Terrell; grandsons, Jerome and Joel Terrell; granddaughters, December (Michael) Courtwright, Nicole (William) Armaline; sister, Evelyn Prater, Rockmart, GA; 13 great grandchildren; goddaughter, Mercedes Jones; nieces, Roberta Benham, Barbara Harris; nephews, Alvin Hutchins, Miles Hutchins, Marvin Kent; dear friend, Valerie Jennings; a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Right at Home.
Public viewing will be held from 2 – 6 pm Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
