Obituary for Robert T. Walker

Robert Thomas Walker was born on October 12th 1941 to Patt and Victoria (Singh) Puryear Walker. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey. Robert had two siblings, Patricia Ann Walker and Ronald Richard Puryear. He came from a very large family, with many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Robert was a cross country truck driver for 50+ years. Wherever he traveled to, he always shared, the love of Christ. He knew no stranger. Robert loved to cook and bake bread. Everyone called him for directions and he would direct people straight to the front door, so please don’t get lost because then you would get a sermon, about how you did not follow directions.

Robert loved reading the bible, comparing scripture to scripture, and giving bible studies. He loved his family and his dying wish was that his girls and a host of relatives, would be saved. He desires to see all of us in heaven. To his wife Barbara, you were a sweet wife of almost 59 years. You lovingly took care of him, until he took his last breath. Hold on! for in just a little while, He that shall come will come and will not tarry. You will see your dear Robert again, you just be faithful, until the end.

He was preceded in death by his parents Patt Walker and Victoria (Singh) Puryear Walker, and siblings Patricia Ann Walker, and Ronald Richard Puryear.
