Obituary for Robert "Shape-Up" Lee Colvin
Robert Lee "Shape - Up" Colvin was born March 15, 1955. He transitioned to eternity on March 20, 2022. Robert was a Marine. He will always be remembered as an amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
He was always happy and friendly and he enjoyed a great concert.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Everdena Bradfield; his father, King Solomon Sr. ; His first wife, Theodora; second wife, Valorie Colvin; brothers, King Solomon Jr., Mixon Colvin, and Charles and Lawrence Colvin; nephews, Teddy Eason and Royce Orr Sr.
He is survived by his daughters, Latoya Colvin and Pamela Colvin (Darius) Benton; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Nathan Lee Colvin, Gurnella Robertson Colvin, and Cornetta Faye Royal Colvin; nieces, nephews; other family members and friends.
Public viewing will be held 9 AM to 12:30 PM Monday, April 4, 2022 at John P Franklin Funeral Home, followed by a 12:30 pm funeral service. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
