Robert Lee “Bubba” King, 81, was born May 6, 1939, in Athens, Alabama to John and Laura King. Robert was called “Bubba” by his family and friends. He attended public schools. Robert was employed by US Pipe and Long Pontiac. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sue Bolden, California and Laura (Fluddy) Moses, Chattanooga.

On Monday, January 25, 2021, Robert departed his earthly life at his residence surrounded by his family.

Cherishing his memories, very devoted companion, Dennis Stone; son, Kenneth Kelly, Chattanooga; daughters, Kenya King and Erica King, both of Chattanooga, D’ Anda Ford, Atlanta; two stepchildren, Natosha Stone and Turkessa Stone, Chattanooga; sister, Johnnie Mae King, Chattanooga; brothers, Gregory (Linda) King, Charlie (Valerie) King, all of Nashville Tennessee; devoted niece, Theresa (Rico) Moses, Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews, cousins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.


Public viewing will be held 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM noon Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the funeral home followed by a 1:00 PM graveside service. Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
