Obituary for Robert Wayne Banks, Sr.
Robert Wayne Banks, Sr., 67, passed away May 8, 2023, in Chattanooga. He was born November 5, 1955, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Jimmy T. Banks and Emma J. Banks Robert graduated from Riverside High School, class of 1973. He retired from Wheland foundry. He was of the Baptist faith.
Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Kathy D. Banks; his aunt and uncle, Mary Osborne and Eddie B. Osborne.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, a son, Robert Wayne Banks, Jr.; daughter. DeNiqua Kathy Banks; four granddaughters, Raven Olivia Banks Daija Kaleigha Banks, Trinity Mae Banks, and Amor Zoel Banks; two grandsons, Amir Jaceon Dwuye and Robert Omari Banks god-granddaughter, Desarai Yvonne Lofton; great-grandson, A'syn Da'Real Toren; a sister, JoAnn Banks; special friend, Hattie Bell; host of cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. At the Funeral Home.
A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Highland Memorial Gardens.
