Quanterria Faye Hughes, 30, passed away August 23, 2022, in Chattanooga. Quanterria was born in Atlanta Georgia. She graduated from Brainerd High School in 2010 and attended Austin Peay State University. She was currently employed by T-Mobile. Her previous employers included Heavenly Wings, Sam’s Club, and CVS.

Quan loved elephants and butterflies. Her favorite colors are blue and green. She loved her nephews. She treated them like her own children. She did not have any of her own. She loved to read and to listen to pop music.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Kimberly Hughes; fiancé, William Wright; brother, DeQueis, Armour; sister, Felicia Cunningham; grandparents, Cynthia Buckner and Clayton Cook; aunt, Tamieka Simmons; cousins, Fred Jones, Tramelvin Simmons, Jeormynieka Davis, and Santaniesha Simmons; stepbrother, Zand Hayes; nephews, “T3” Rivers, Joe Rivers, Jace Rivers and TyNelius “Grunt” Rivers; uncles, Jeffrey Simmons, Jeremy Davis and Floyd Davis.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm Friday, September 9, 2022 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 10, 2022, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
