Obituary for Patricia Williams

Patricia Onetha Williams was born on November 13, 1941, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Moses and Louvenia Renfroe as an only child. Patricia accepted Christ at an early age. She was an usher at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and worked with the Financial Committee. She was a Howard Hustling Tiger as were all her children. Always a motivator, encourager, and leader, she returned to school after retirement to learn computer software skills and operations to assist her grandchildren with homework and to be the atypical senior citizen.

Patricia was employed at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a Supervisor in the Janitorial department where she retired after more than 25 years of service. Upon retirement, she started a commercial janitorial service that was a thriving business for several years. She completely retired and enjoyed being a founding member of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary Henry County Lady Leatherneck unit in Stockbridge Georgia. Patricia has been very supportive of the Marine Corps League as she has two children Bonita and Eddie that are Marines.
Patricia has always been the ultimate mother, grandmother, and friend to all that met her, the love, support, and guidance will be missed by many. She was the wind beneath our wings, the light in our darkness, our strength when we were weak, the calm voice when all was loud and crazy. She was our first true friend. We were siblings she never had. She taught us to love, honor, and respect each other no matter what the situation or circumstance. We were to stand as one. As the children of this amazing woman, we will continue to make you proud Mama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandsons, Eric Williams and David Feaster; her great-grandson, Darrell Williams Hill; and the love of her life Jerry Marshall Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Bernard (Patricia - Fiancée) Renfroe of Chattanooga TN, Bonita Feaster Johnson of Stockbridge GA, Eddie (Kimberly) Williams of Conyers GA, Patrick (Jaquatte) Williams of Lithonia GA, Diane Williams of Chattanooga TN; her grandchildren, Bernard (Telisha) Renfroe Jr, Britney, Kinsley, Jaquatte, Patra Williams, Kenneth, Darrell, Tony Williams, and Eric (Miesha) Mitchell; several loving great-grandchildren, and far too many cousins and friends to list. We the family would like to give special loving thanks to her special friends, James (Peanut) Shepherd, Matt Green, Annie Penn, Johnnie Moon, and Martha Hicks.
Public viewing will be held from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM, on Saturday, June 4th at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, followed by the funeral service. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery Monday, June 6th @ 10:00 AM
