Patricia E. Davis (Lefty) died peacefully in her home on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 72.
Pat was a 1968 graduate of Riverside High School and a 1972 graduate of Knoxville College where she
earned a degree in Psychology. She spent the majority of her career in academia, working for
Chattanooga Public Schools, but later retired from Southeast Tennessee Career Center as a professional
development coach. Pat embodied the spirit of servant leadership. Her warm smile and genuine heart
allowed her to connect with all ages at various stages of their life.

Pat enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid tennis player, fisherman and water-skier. Her second passion
was music and was a collector of many genres. Pat could certainly sing and dance the night away. Most
of all, Pat was the epitome of love and her spirit of pure joy radiated throughout all of her family and
dearest friends.

Pat is preceded in death by her father, Chester Ward Hiwatha Davis Sr.; mother, Mary Davis; sisters,
Carolyn Davis Williams and Gwendolyn Ribbons, brothers, Chester W. Davis Jr. (Alfreda) and Ronald Davis
niece, Delisa Ribbins Leak.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Chanestia "Patty" Simmons (Speard); grandson Chase Hill;
brother, Gerald Davis (Roxie), and Joyce Davis (Ronald), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and life-
long friends.

Public viewing will be held 9 am - 1:00 pm Monday August 1, 2022, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, followed by a 1:00 pm funeral service.
