Obituary for Orlando Anderson
Orlando “Lannie” Anderson, 65, passed away January 28, 202, in Chattanooga. He attended Spears Avenue and Northside Junior High School.
He was an employee of Morrison's cafeteria for a number of years. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Orlando better known as “Lannie”, was a quiet person who really enjoyed the time to himself. However, he never met a stranger. While he walked, he spoke with everyone he passed. He was a kind and loving person. He liked to attend different churches on Sundays.
He is predeceased by his mother, Molly Sue Walker Anderson; father, George Anderson, Sr.; sisters, Mary Etta Anderson, and Lynda Anderson; brother George James Anderson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sister Carolyn Anderson (Edward) Ector; three brothers, John E. Anderson, Billy C. Anderson, and Dennis Anderson; a host of cousins, family and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622–9995.
