Omega Ann Welbon, 69, was born June 11, 1952, in Chattanooga, TN. She departed this life on April 18, 2022. Omega attended Howard High School. She was employed by Pilgrim’s Pride for over forty years. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Omega was a strong woman and mother of three. She was a friend whom you could call and knew she listened. She would always give you her honest opinion. Omega will be loved and missed by family and friends. Although her physical presence is no longer here with us, her spirit and love that she gave will carry on. Omega, we will love you always.

Omega was preceded in death by her mother, Mary J. Pollard; brothers, James Edward Pollard, Norman Moore; son, Terrence D. Welbon.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, son, Kevin Pollard, Sr.; daughter, Tongeia Welbon; life companion, Leroy McCallie; sister, Mary Louise Davis; three grandsons, Kevin Pollard, Jr., Tarryn Speights, and Tyler Welbon; two granddaughters, Martisha Tolliver, and T’Kaelyn Westfield; daughter-in-law, Kathryn P. Tanner; a host of family and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, on Friday, April 29th, at the funeral home. An 11:00 AM graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Highland Memorial Gardens.
