Obituary for Norma Ross Williams

Mrs. Norma Lee Ross-Williams was born on March 17, 1942, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to the late Herman Ross and Mrs. Rosa Lee (Edmondson) Ross-Allen. On Friday, April 23, 2021, she slept to a new and eternal life of peace and happiness with the Lord. She was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. She lived her life in service to others as a healthcare professional at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN., from where she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; (7) sisters, Thelma Knox, Roberta Ross, Jeralee Woods, Genevieve Patterson, Margaret Simpson, Beverly "Bep" Allen, and Willena (Leroy) Samples; and (3) brothers, Leroy Ross, Charles Ross, and Herman Caffey Ross.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Eddie Williams; her children, Jennifer (James) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Pamela (Cedric) Evans of McDonough, GA, Kimberly (Tommy) Favors of McDonough, GA, Vincent (Angela) Nash of Chattanooga, TN; her (9) grandchildren; (2) step-grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren; her siblings, Betty Ross of Decatur, GA, and Jimmie (Linda) Allen of Chattanooga, TN; her very devoted niece, Ernestine Dixon of Chattanooga, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held 9am – 11:30 am Friday, May 7, 2021, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm in the chapel. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
