Nellie Louise Idlette, 92, passed away September 17, 2022, in Chattanooga. She attended Howard High School and was a member of the Tyner Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.

Nellie was predeceased by her husband, Willie R. Idlette, Sr; daughter Shirley Idlette O'Hara; parents, John and Hattie Gregory; sister, Deborah Gregory Hale.

She leaves to cherish memories three sons, Wayne (Joan) Kirkling of Sacramento, CA, Victor L. Idlette, and Willie R. Idlette, Jr. both of Chattanooga; niece, Lisa Johnetta Gregory; great-nieces, Kiara Lakeisha Currie and Deja Chantelle Y'vonne Martin; nine grandchildren, including April Blackstock nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; special friends, Carrie Harris and Jim and Julia Wiley.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, September 25, 2022, at John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995. A 12:00 PM funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, in the Chapel of the Funeral Home.

Interment Chattanooga National Cemetery. Gate time 1:30 PM
