Nathaniel Lewis Parks, Sr. was born January 3, 1963 in Long Beach, California, to the parents of Robert L. and Patsy Ann Gillespie Parks. He peacefully transitioned this life to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.He was a 1981 graduate of Brainerd High School and attended Tusculum College for 2 years.
Nathaniel joined Harris Chapel A. M. E. Zion Church at an early age where he worshiped with his family. He was a fun and loving person, who was always the life of the party. His humor was like no other, when he left the room you were still laughing. Nathaniel's ability to brighten up your day will be truly missed.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Patsy Parks; son, Nathaniel Jr., Chattanooga; twin brother, Nathan (Yvette) Parks, Nashville, TN; sisters, Valerie Jennings and Vivian (Ralph) Kimbell, Chattanooga; grandson, Jessie, Chattanooga; granddaughters, Nasha, Nataejah, Jaysha, & Jada, all of Chattanooga. A host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held 9:00am-12:00pm Monday, November 16, 2020 at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm. Interment: Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
