Myrtle Cook, 66, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2020. She was born April 5, 1954 to the late John D. and Elizabeth Cook.Myrtle attended Riverside High School and was employed at Little Angels Learning Academy. She was a member of Greater New Home Baptist Church. She loved playing games on her computer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Andrew and Timothy Cook.

Those to cherish her loving memory include daughters, Tonya Pitmon, Huntsville, AL and Danyell Cook; devoted companion, Edward Baugh; sisters, Ella (Robert) Scott, Laura Cook, Hilda (Walter) Lindsey, all of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Amanda Woodard, Jemetrius Woodard, both of Huntsville, AL, Udarius Strawter, Harem, OH; sister-in-law, Diane Cook, Chattanooga; devoted stepdaughters, Elizabeth Angel and Eugina Wynn; many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends.

Public viewing will be from 2 – 6 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the funeral home. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 30th at Forest Hills Cemetery.

To the Family my Sisters from another Mother. I send my deepest and sincerest condolences. I will miss Myrtle I can not express enough how much Myrtle will be missed. We shared alot of good times a lot of laughter, late night talks . Gone but not forgotten. Rest In Peace Love. Love you Guys. Michelle

My deepest and sincerest condolences to my Sisters from another Mother. I have been a friend of the family forever and I love you all. I am going to miss Myrtle. I really can't express it enough, She will be missed for real all the late nights laughing, talking and card playing we shared we have great memories. Gone but not forgotten. Rest in Heaven.
