Myron Cox, 64, of Chattanooga Tn., entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in a local hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born November 21, 1958 and attended Riverside High School. He was employed by Townsend Moving and Storage and Mercury Cab for several years.

He was preceded in death by mother, Eunice Cox and father, Roy Cox, brother, Walter Hairston, niece, Tasha Cox, and nephew, Fedel (Tonya) Cox, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, longtime companion, Beverly Christopher Greer and her children, Mircia Christopher, Jerry Christopher and Tonya Christopher; 3 sisters, Betty Cox, Debra (Cox) Woodruff, and Linda Cox; three brothers, Willie (Ginlda Vennell) Cox, Sr., Eddie Earl (Bernice Gordon) Cox and David Cox; nephews, Donnell Woodruff, Jermaine (Rachel) Cox, Eddie (LaRonnica Donley) Cox, Jr., Jarvis (Angela) Cox, Stanley (Leatri) Cox, and Willie (Felicia) Cox, Jr., nieces, Tiffany Woodruff, Valerie (Kenneth) Wilkins and Ebony Cox; a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The family will receive friends 4:00pm - 6:00pm Sunday February 26, 2023 at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
