Michael Anthony Yearby, 60, passed away on February 6, 2021, in Chattanooga. Michael was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church. He worked as an auto mechanic for more than 40 years. Michael walked to his own beat. He loved his friends and family and had no problem coming to their defense at a moment’s notice. He was well-loved and respected by many. He had a very open and loving heart. Michael was passionate about his dogs, animals, and football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Yearby and Eva Terrell Yearby.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Ashley Clark, Cleveland, Tennessee; three sons, Anthony Yearby, of Jacksonville, Florida, and his mother, Kim Dial, Chattanooga,Tennessee, Alan Marsh, Anniston, Alabama, and Xavier Smart, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three brothers, Curtis Lee (Veronica) White, Chesapeake, Virginia, Rodney Dwayne Yearby, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Troy Mack, Bloomington, Minnesota; sister, Deadra Mack, Cleveland, TN; Kim Terrell and Terrell Family, Anita Jackson, and Byrd Family; special friends,Theo Hamilton, David Hamilton, and Lisa Martin, all of Chattanooga; a host of cousins, family, and friends.
