Obituary for Michael Wigfall, Jr.
Michael Steven Wigfall, Jr., 27, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, in Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Michael played football for a number of years. He played Little League with the Chattanooga Cowboys and Murfreesboro Mustangs. He attended Dodge City College in Dodge City, KS, and Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, where he also played football. He attended Abundant Life Christian Center in Murfreesboro, TN.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Louis Wigfall, Jr. and Sharon Wigfall;
great grandparents, Clifton and Ardalia Washington, and Walter Louis Wigfall, Sr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, father, Michael Steven Wigfall, Sr. (Stephanie Jones) of Chattanooga, TN; mother and stepfather, Tawana and Timothy Corder, of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers, JacQues Smith,(Sarah Parker) and JacQuari Johnson, both of Murfreesboro, TN; grandmother, Marceria Cox, Murfreesboro TN; grandfather, Ernest Williams; great grandmothers, Armprenellia Wigfall-Witherspoon, Chattanooga, TN, and Celia Stovall, Cleveland, Ohio; aunts, Melody Williams, Murfreesboro, TN, Stephanie Wigfall, Shawana Wigfall, and Tankia Wigfall, all of Chattanooga, TN; uncles, Ronald Wigfall, and Edwin Wigfall; niece and nephew, Ianna Smith and Isaiah Smith; a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Public viewing will be held, 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Monday, February 15, 2021, at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
