Melvin Snow 76 was born November 27, 1946, in Chattanooga, TN. He was a graduate of Riverside High School and served in the United States Navy. Melvin worked for Dupont for several years. He departed his life’s journey on October 7, 2022.

Melvin was preceded in death by his mother, Willie Ruth Snow; father, John Debardeleben; son, Broderick Jordan; sister, Gloria Worthy; brother, Peter Sims; aunt, Mrs. Freddie Snow; uncle, Mr. John H. Snow; niece, Donna Worthy.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memories, daughters, Tussa Snow-Ricks and Ryan Snow; grandchildren, Sherell Jordan, Keosha Jordan, Nikki Snow, Brandon Ricks, Khary Ricks and KaDayla Jordan; six great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Dunton, Jacqueline Cooper, Brenda (Rudolph) Houston and Vonerette Hayes; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Sims, John (Cheryl) Debardeleben, Vodie (Donna) Debardeleben and Dillard DeBardeleben; nieces, Pat (Ricky) Joseph, Lynnitra Dunton, Kantissa Heard, and Camisha Joseph; nephews, Jeremy Dunton, Ricky Joseph, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Thursday, October 20, 2022, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995, followed by a 12:30 PM graveside service at Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
