Mattie Pearl Bush, 80, passed away December 27, 2022, at her home in Chattanooga, TN. She was born to Charlie Stephens and Mannie C Stephens, January 21, 1942, in Chattanooga. Mattie Pearl was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Benton, Ernestine Dorsey, and Janie Young; her daughter, Doris Smith; granddaughter, Trevia Stephens; her husband, Charlie Bush.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters, Valerie Kimbrough and Vivian Johnson; grandchildren, Larry (Chantel) Bush, Shondrick (Tamicia) Stephens, Shemeca Bell, Asia Davis, Aldonta Smith, Isaiah and Demar Stephens, Kawanna and LaTan Williams; 17 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
Public viewing will be held 9:00am - 1:30 pm Monday, January 9, 2023, followed by a 1:30 PM chapel service at John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
