Obituary for Mary Glen Roseberry

Mary Glen Roseberry was born Thursday, February 6, 1941 in Camphill, Alabama to the late Plato and
Lillie Rowe. She married the love of her life, Charles E. Roseberry, on December 25, 1958. She answered the
call to eternal rest, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Mary accepted Christ, as the Lord of her life, at an early
age. She was a long-time and dedicated member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church where she
faithfully served on the Ushers Ministry until her health declined.

She was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System and graduated from Howard High School in the
class of 1959. Mary continued her education and earned certifications as a Surgical Technician from Tennessee
A&I State University. She retired from Memorial Hospital after forty plus years of service as an Operating
Room Surgical Technician.

She was predeceased by her parents; devoted husband; brother, John W. Rowe; sister, Pearl Rowe Talley; and
granddaughter, Christian N. Roseberry.

Mary was blessed with a loving family. While married to the love of her life, the Good Lord graciously
showered them with a handsome baby boy, Charles E. Roseberry, Jr., followed by a beautiful baby girl, Donna.
They were the joy of their lives. Mary enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.
Mary was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her generous spirit, caring
heart, and uplifting soul touched many lives. Mary’s legacy will continue to live in the lives of her family and
friends forever.

She leaves to cherish precious memories two devoted children, Charles E. Roseberry Jr. (Denise), Donna Y.
Roseberry Roberson (Virgil); grandchildren, Quintona C. Roseberry Edgemon (Keith), Coye A. Roseberry
(Hannah), Nicholas A. Roberson; great-grandchildren, Ryann M. Edgemon and Ayden C. Edgemon; brother,

Plato “Bill” Rowe (Sarah); sisters, AnnieBell Rowe, Ernestine Rowe Menephee, Patricia Rowe; dear friends,
Isabella Lane, Caroline Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm - 6:00pm Friday, February 17, 2023 at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment will begin at 9:30 am Friday, February 24, 2023 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 SR-153, Hixson Tn 37343, 423-877-6471
