Obituary for Marcus Harrison
Marcus Harrison, 46, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 1, 2023. Marcus Harrison was born on April 2, 1976, in Chattanooga, TN to Linda J. Harrison and Wayne Williams.
His loving grandmother, Annie Mae Harrison, preceded him in death.
Marcus attended Howard High School where he was a marching band member and played the drums. He was employed at Zeco for over three years as a forklift operator. Marcus spent his past time traveling, attending sports events, grilling out (great cook), playing basketball, listening to music, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Marcus had a personality that would brighten up a room just from his presence. He had a great sense of humor. Marcus was a kind-hearted person and made everyone feel at home. He said it best, he was a “fun cool guy”!
Marcus is survived by his mother, Linda J. Harrison, Chattanooga, TN; father, Wayne Williams, Chattanooga, TN; sister, Cornelia Elaster, Chattanooga, TN; brother, Nicholas Harrison, Chattanooga TN, half-brother, Trail Womble, Chattanooga, TN; brother-in-law, Tyrone Elaster, Chattanooga, TN; uncle, Charlie Harrison, Chattanooga, TN; devoted friends, Terrin Bell,
Michael Green, Christopher Hall, and Roderick Holloway Sr., all of Chattanooga, TN; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm Sunday, January 15, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am Monday, January 16, 2023 at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue. Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.
