Maple Jean Bell was such a loving, fun, and energetic person who truly lived life. Born on December 18, 1954, she departed this life on April 24, 2022 at Erlanger Hospital. She was born in Livingston, Alabama. At a young age, her family moved to Chattanooga, TN. She graduated from the Hamilton County school system. Throughout her life, Maple was employed in many capacities. There was never a job that she could not perform. Often her male counterparts were amazed at her vigor and tenacity when she outperformed them. Maple was a lover of life and a free-spirit. She lived every moment as if it was her last.
Her mother, Annie Lee Stephens-Bell, her father James H. Bell, her sister, Patty Bell, and her brothers George Bell and Clayton McElroy, all preceded her in Glory.
Maple leaves to cherished her memories her beloved children, Rhonda Hooks of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Antoinette Toran, Robbie Johnson, Christiner Hilt-Millener, Christopher Hilt, and Mattique Hilt all of Chattanooga, TN; one dedicated brother James A. Bell of Chattanooga, TN; Grandchildren: QuayShawn, Asya, Tenear, LaTayveon, Emya, Heaven, & DeQuan; devoted aunts, Gladys Bell and Mary Bell; and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
