Obituary for Louise Tinsley

Mrs. Louise Evans Tinsley was born August 25, 1929 in Camp Hill, Alabama to the late John and Annie Bell Evans. She departed back to her heavenly home on Friday, August 21,2020 at Life Care Center of Collegedale.

She worked for 36 years as a homemaker for Family & Children Services, and was a faithful member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and blessed many throughout her lifetime with her delicious dinners, cakes, and pies. She loved the Braves baseball team and was a collector of stuffed animals.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, only son Anthony, and 3 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter-in-law, Candeis Tinsley; granddaughters, Kimberly, and Jessica Tinsley; brothers-in-law, Roy (Gloria) Tinsley, Camp Hill, AL; Benjamin Dumas, Auburn, AL and Rev. Jessie J. Taylor, Oxnard, CA; sisters-in-law, Beatrice (James) Adams, Oxnard, CA; Ethel David, Auburn, AL; Annie Tinsley of Camp Hill, AL.

She will also be missed by her extended nieces, nephews, cousins, the Turner, Herren, Hughley, Woodyard, Evans and Tinsley Families; special friends Sammy and Stella Dial and Mrs. Harris.

The funeral service will be broadcast live beginning at 11:00 am EST Monday, August 31, 2020 at www.johnpfranklinfuneralhomefacebook.com.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 - 6:00 pm Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens.
