Obituary for Lisa Renee Julius

Lisa Renee Julius, 57, passed away on September 6, 2022, in Chattanooga. She was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 4, 1965, to Adam Tyler and Mary Henderson Jenkins. Lisa attended and graduated from JW Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan. Lisa practiced Hebrew Israelite faith.

In high school, she was a standout basketball player. Lisa was also a member of Junior Achievement and the high school honor roll. She excelled in everything that she did. She was an accomplished trumpet and saxophone player.

After graduation from high school. She attended DeVry University in Lombard, Illinois, majoring in computer science. She returned to Lansing, MI. And attended Cooley Law School and Lansing Community College. She later met and married Jessie Julius, and they had a lifelong, loving relationship, traveling the world as military people.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Julius, father, Adam Tyler; grandparents; sisters, Shawna Henderson and Denise Tyler.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons, Adam Henderson and Michael Julius; mother, Mary Henderson Jenkins, brothers, William Crusoe, Frank Henderson, Sr., Raphael Jenkins and Ralph Jenkins, Allen Jenkins, and George Alvin Tyler; sisters, LaRonda Henderson, Danae Jenkins, Eunice Jenkins, Karen Burse, Euriel Wagoner, and Chandler Tyler; uncles, Paul Henderson, Kenneth Tyler, and Richard Tyler; aunt, Patricia Huff; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends; best friends Sabrina Rembert, Romulus MI, Lisa and Jackie Burton of California and Georgia, and Crystal Carter of California.

Interment service will be announced for a later date.
