Linda Faye Walker, 60, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2021. She entered this life on October 28, 1960, and was born in Chattanooga Tennessee , to Lelia Woodley and the late William Patterson. Linda was a graduate of Riverside High School where she was a member of the band, majorette team and the dance team. She was a member of the United Community Baptist Church and most importantly, a strong believer in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Linda was a loving mother of three and caring grandmother of nine. A cherished daughter, she lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the moments life had to offer.
Linda is preceded in death by her daughter, Shekita Rena Walker; father, William Patterson; brother, Larry D. Walker.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Moneka Nicole Robinson; son, Raymond Antwon Hunter III; nine grandchildren, Allan, Ahmad, and Amarah Robinson, Devonte, Nadia, Kayla, Raymia, Raymond III, and Rome Hunter; a loving mother, Lelia Bell Woodley; devoted sister, Wanda Taylor; devoted brother-in-law, Jerome Taylor Sr. ; sister, Nellie Brown; two brothers, Johnny Brown and Ronnie Brown; a faithful mate, Frederick Marshall; a dear and devoted friend, Betty Jean (BJ) Marshall.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday, February 26, 2021 at the funeral home. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
