Lamecka Ann Darden, 36, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in Chattanooga. She was born January 23, 1987, in Shelby, NC to William Addison Darden, III, and April Z. Ellis.
Lamecka was a graduate of East Ridge High School and was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee. She founded, owned, and operated All Black Everything. She was the first entrepreneur to be selected and awarded acknowledgment from Rise Chattanooga.
Lamecka enjoyed arts and crafts projects. She especially loved doing things for her nieces and nephews.
Lamecka leaves to cherish her precious memories, mother, April Ellis Boozer; father, William Addison Darden, III; brother, William Addison Darden, IV; two sisters, Dimon J. X. Darden, and Jasmyne D. Darden; three nephews, Isaiah Kirk, Amare Akins, and Kingston Darden; two nieces, Anova Akins and Kilah Darden; boyfriend, Ephram Harden; a host of other family and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 1:00 Sunday, February 19, 2023, PM, followed immediately by a 1:00 PM funeral service in the Chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave. 423-622-9995.
