Joyce Banks, 72, formerly of North Chattanooga, passed away, March 21, 2023, in Chattanooga. She was born June 14, 1950, in Lafayette, Alabama to John Shavers and Mary L Banks.
Joyce attended Riverside High School. She was formerly employed with Dupont Corporation, Erlanger Hospital, Boston Market, and Republic Parking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Shavers and Mary L Banks; aunt, Georgia Banks.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, a devoted cousin, Annie Smith and a host of other cousins.
Public viewing will be held 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday,March 30,2023, followed immediately by 1:00 PM funeral service in the chapel of John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
Interment will be Forest Hills Cemetery.
