Obituary for Jonathan Davis

Jonathan (Bubble) Davis, was born on July 15, 1950, in Chattanooga. He departed this life peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022, surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family.

Bubble was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of 1969. While attending Riverside, he studied auto mechanics. He was self-employed and the proud owner of Bubble’s Garage until his illness and passing. He was a loving father and family man. He was always there with helping hands.

Bubble later built and owned his own race car, known as “The Ace of Spades”. He entered the World of Wheels and won many trophies and numerous medals throughout his years as a member. He was a faithful servant to anyone that needed his help and an expert in auto mechanics.

Bubble was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Felicia and Tracy Davis; sisters, Veronica Billups, Martha Davis, Frances Davis, and Virginia Gail Ball.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving and devoted wife, Susan Diane Davis; son, Jonathan Lamar Davis; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Myrtle Watkins, Cassandra Seals, Naomi (Gerald) Jackson; brother, Marty (Millicent) Davis; brother-in-law, Harvey Mathis, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, on Thursday, June 23, 2022, followed immediately by an 11:00 AM, funeral service in the chapel.

Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery
