Obituary for Johnny Thrasher
Johnny Lee Thrasher, 65, passed away February 4, 2023, in Chattanooga. He was born January 14, 1958, to Claudia Thrasher.
Johnny was a quiet, but kind soul who loved his family. He became a chef and was known for his excellent cooking skills especially the southern homestyle delicacies.
He will truly be missed by his family and lifelong friends of the Emma Wheeler Homes Community.
Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Claudia Thrasher; sisters, Joyce Vinson and Sandra Sims; nephew, Leavon Thrasher
He leaves to cherish memories, daughter, Shakera Thrasher; niece, Dr. LeAndrea (Gerald) Ware; one grandchild; cousins, great nieces, other family and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00pm-6:00pm, with family receiving friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
