Obituary for John Lopopolo

John S. Lopopolo, born April 13, 1964, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Mr. Lopopolo has lived and worked in New Orleans, Dallas, and Chattanooga. He was a 1983 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America at Del Gado College in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He has served the Chattanooga community as an awesome Executive Chef since 1990 at Michaels, Bud’s, and Mt. Vernon. He won the Iron Chef of Chattanooga.

He loved his wife, Lisa, his family, The Pittsburgh Steelers, flying drones, his dog, Polly and their many cats. He will truly be missed by all.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Robbie and Vince Lopopolo; sister, Janice Innis

Survivors include his spouse, Lisa Lopopolo; siblings, Chuck (Cindy) Lopopolo, and Vickie Gipson; nephews and nieces, Matt, Brandon, Chase, Brent, Cindy, Beth, Brittney, Brooke, Brianna, Leanna, and Rachel; sister in law, Deanna Lopopolo; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him.

There will be no public services held.
