Mrs. Jo Ann Franklin Fields Parks,69, passed away on June 15, 2022, in Chattanooga. She was born September 6, 1952, to the late Lois Franklin and Joe Fields.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Alice Franklin; brothers, Renus, and Charles; sisters, Carolyn and Bobbie Jean; her daughter, Tinikia Marsh.
Mrs. Parks is survived by her husband, Mike Parks; two daughters, Beatrice Franklin, and Kristi Rollins; son, Melvin Harrison; two loving grandsons, Montez Green, and Demetrius Smith; one loving granddaughter, TeQuishia Franklin; brothers, Milton, Warren, Anthony, Nathaniel, Maurice, and Dimitri; sisters, Connie, Ollie Mae, Charlene, and Deborah; a host of grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, followed immediately by a 1:00 PM funeral service in the Chapel of the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
