Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
You have my deepest sympathy. I gave J C a key to my house so he could check on my house when I was out of town. One evening my son came to Chattanooga to surprise me with a computer but he got a surprise I was not home. He could not get in. He knew Ms Doll ; he went down there to ask her if she knew where I had gone. She did not but she told him J C had a key to my house and she contacted J C to let my son in. My son knew J C ; J C taught my son a lot of things about cars when he was home from college in the summer. I had gone to the auditorium to see Shirley Caesar. I did not get home until after 10:00 PM. When I would get home that late I would not park in the driveway I would park in front of the house. I saw the light on in the hall; I did not leave it on I would leave the light on in the den like my Mother. My Mother would leave the light on in the den if she was going to come home after dark so she could see the rolls of pennies that she kept on the end of her Coffee table. She said if the pennies were gone when she opened the door and looked at the Coffee table she was not going to come in because she would know someone had been in her house and might still be in there. I was sitting in my car scared to enter my house; I did not see Barbara Snow sitting on her porch she saw me sitting in my car and figured out I was scared, she called out to me and told me my son and J C were in the house. After it was over it was funny but was not funny when it was happening.
