Mr. George "Chuckie" Williams, 65,of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on January 25, 2021, peacefully at home. He was born on January 7, 1956 to Lula Mae Williams and George Owens. He was a member of the 1974 class of Howard High School, where he excelled in basketball. He also furthered his education at Lane College. He was a faithful member of Olivet Baptist Church. George loved God, was the life of the party, a philosopher, and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lula Mae Williams and George Owens; son, Michael Robbins; 3 sisters and a brother.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his son, Alex Williams of Chattanooga, Tennessee; brother, Fletcher (Pam) Williams; sisters, Darnese Williams of Houston, Texas and Della Kellogg of Chattanooga, Tennessee; beloved aunt, Lela Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friend, Karen Nelson.

At his request, there will be no service. George would not want anyone to mourn his death but instead remember all of the good times that were shared. The family would like to thank everyone that expressed their condolences.
