Obituary for Frances Virginia Moss
Frances Moss, 78, passed away on July 14, 2022, in Chattanooga. She was born September 5, 1943, in Chattanooga, TN, to Fannie Mae Dunton Moss and Hubert Moss.
Frances attended Howard High School. She had been previously employed at Nu-Foam. Frances was a member of Thankful Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Ruby Kate Moss, Debra Moss, Willie Pearl Moss, and JuDale Hines; brothers, Eddie Moss, Hubert Moss, and Willie Moss.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, brothers, Anthony “Toney” (Linda) Moss and Reginald (Katherlyn) Moss; granddaughter, Stacy Hughes (Edward McClendon, Sr.); two great grandsons, Edward McClendon, Jr. and JaQuezz McClendon; one great granddaughter, Ty’Nesha McClendon; nieces, Gloria Pulliam, Gwen Pulliam, and Terry Pulliam, Robbin Moss, Candice Moss, Chanda Moss, and Michelle Babbs; nephews, Edward (Juliette), Mark, Willie, Jr., “Lil” Hubert (Linda) Moss.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, on Thursday, July 21, 2022, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service in the chapel of the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery.
