Obituary for Fannie Moon
Fannie B. Moon, 81, passed away on January 14, 2021, in Chattanooga. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and homemaker. Fannie served as a classroom volunteer for Eastside Elementary School. She was a loving mom and a devoted wife. She was a woman of great faith, and she loved the Lord! She attended Southside Church of Christ.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Annie Mae Ford; husband, Willie Moon Sr. ; brothers, Bobby Ford, Charles Chapman, and Fred Greer; her eldest grandson, Darius Hinton.
She will forever be remembered and loved by her four children, Lorrie Moon, Le Angela Moon, Michelle (Tommy) Lazenby, and Willie ( Denerica) Moon, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; her dearest friend, Elaine Greer, and extended family members and dear friends.
Public viewing will be held 9:00 am-11:30 am, Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
