Obituary for Eugene Cobbins
Eugene “Country Boy” Cobbins, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He sang with the Gospel Keynotes and traveled for many years across the country, taking the gift of music. Mr. Cobbins ran Country Boy Transportation and Genie Smell Good Janitorial Company for over 30 years. Eugene Cobbins was a member of Fellowship Church for more than 45 years.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents; Norman and Willie B. Cobbins; and grandson, Raheem Blunt.
He leaves to cherish his memories, son; Eugene Cobbins, Jr.; daughter, Kimberly Lloyd; partner, Claudette Buford; eight grandchildren; eight brothers; two sisters.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm-6:00 PM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the funeral home chapel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 and Saturday, May1, 2021, in Winona, Mississippi. Arrangements in Mississippi will be handled by Roberts and Sons Mortuary, 524 Greensboro Street, Winona, Mississippi.
