Emily Stockdale, 80, went home to be with the Lord on July 25, 2020. She was employed as a caregiver until her health failed her. She was a member of Orchard Knob Baptist Church.
Emily was preceded in death by her husband, James Stockdale; mother, May Frances Jackson; father, Charles Jackson; brother, Clarence Jackson; sister, Charleslisa Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory five sons, Donald (Raquel) Smith, Jarmane (Laurn) Knox, of Chattanooga, Marvin Smith, Terry Smith, John Smith, of Louisville, KY; step-daughters, Angela Smith, Letisha Tatum, Fay Stockdale; step-son, James Junebug Stockdale, Jr.; sisters, Inez Reed, Mary Joyce Jackson, Charlesetta Jackson; brothers, Robert Lee (Gloria) Jackson, Harold Jackson, Charles Jr. Jackson; 15 grandchildren; special niece Sophia King; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Public viewing will be held 2 – 5 pm Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery
