Donald Ray Strickland, 63, passed away September 19, 2022, in Chattanooga. He was born May 21, 1959, to Johnnie Strickland and Blanch Flemister - Strickland. He graduated from Kirkman Technical High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. He is of the Baptist Faith and belonged to First Corinthians.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Blanch Strickland and brother, Johnnie W. Strickland, Jr.

He is survived by his father, Johnnie W. Strickland; sisters, Vaseline Reed and Johnnie Mae Evans; brother, Douglas Strickland; son, Jonathan; god-daughters, Ashley Capperton and Josie; godson, Patrick; devoted friends, Roland Rizer, Leonard Butler, and Anthony Frazier.

Public viewing will be held 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the funeral home, followed by a 1:00 pm chapel service.
