Demetrius Lawand Fallins was born on October 28, 1976, in Chattanooga, TN, to Melissa Spivey and Christopher Sims. He departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Tristar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN, at the age of 45 years.

Demetrius was educated in the Chattanooga, TN Public School System and graduated from Mackenzie High School in Detroit, Michigan with the class of 1996. He then went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

Demetrius was employed by Purity Dairies in Nashville, Tennessee after achieving his dream of obtaining his CDL-A to become a professional truck driver.

Among those who preceded him in death include his father, Christopher Sims; grandmother, Georgia Fallins; uncles, Dwight Fallins, Sr., and Willie C. Bragg; aunt, Carolyn Bragg; cousins, April Fallins, Elton Hall, and Marvin Davis, Sr.

Cherishing his memories include his wife, Alicia Fallins of Dickson, TN; son, Armani Fallins of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Aamilah Fallins of Nashville, TN; mother, Melissa Spivey of Chattanooga, TN; sister, LaToya Smith of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Carlos (Sukitha) Fallins, and Terrell (Angela) Smith, both of Chattanooga, TN; aunts, Wanda Fallins (Caffey) of Chattanooga, TN, and Philistine Fallins, of Atlanta, GA; uncles, Larry (Waldeenah) Fallins of California, Freddie Fallins of Chattanooga, TN, and Anthony (Emma) Fallins of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm, on Monday, April 11, 2022, at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the chapel of the funeral home.

Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
